Report on Notes/Attachments

The Report on Notes/Attachments application is based on a series of collectors running in the background at specific times to build a reportable data-set that our Custom Report Types can leverage in the Salesforce Report Builder. If you don't schedule the execution of the collectors, the reports won't show any of your Note, Attachment or ContentDocument data in the reports. The below are instructions on how to manually run the collectors and setup the collector schedule:
Access the config page
To access the config page, go to Setup > Installed Packages:
Then click on the Configure link for the Report Note Attachment package:
That will bring up the Setup page:
Run the collectors manually and test the reports
In the Setup page, click on the Run Now button, then go to the reports tab and look at the out-of-the-box reports for Accounts, Contacts, Contracts, Opportunities or Orders:
Schedule the execution of the collectors
Finally, back in the Setup page, schedule the execution by selecting one or more of the available times (based on your time-zone) and click save.
On the specified times selected, the collectors will run and add new Notes, Attachments and ContentDocuments (Lightning Attachments), update any previously collected items that have been changed by your users, or remove any deleted items from the reporting.
